Homoeopathy

Founder and creator of the word is the German doctor Samuel Hahnemann (1755 – 1843), who took the name from the ancient greek words homoios = similar and pathos = disease / suffering. The literal meaning therefore is “similar suffering”. In contrast to the scientific medicin it does not treat diseases but people who have fallen ill.

In Homoeopathy a healthy body works as a delicately balanced system – when the body is ill, this system has been overbalanced. Working with a stimulating and regulating therapy Homoeopathy enables the body to regain it´s healthy balance.

When you look for reasons for a physical breakdown you should always consider the person as a whole, physically and mentally – then a person can be treated observing all symptoms. This is done by using treatments, which can cause similar symptoms in a healthy person according to the “Simile Rule” of Hahnemann: “Similar things can be healed with their likes.”
